My journals are very valuable to me. They aren't the kind of journal that holds my deepest, darkest secrets. Oh no, I do not hide my journals. I share them whenever I can. They are home to quotes that I collect, thumbnail sketches of photos I want to take (shown), my plans and goals and dreams... Sketches, recipes, ideas, even memorable things my kids say.
